We are now at 18 weeks and Lil Man is hitting the height chart at about 6 inches (that's noggin to booboo) and weighs about seven ounces!, which is about the size of a sweet tater. I’m especially tickled to say that our lil Sweet Tater has mastered the art of yawnin' this week!! In fact, if Mommy should get an ultrasound, we just might see the littl'un break out into a big old lazy yawn. If we’re lucky, we could catch him rolling and twisting and doing a few punches. It won’t be long before Mommy will feel our little man playing tag and soccer!!
Our lil baby boy is working hard to complete his nervous system, which is rapidly maturing. His nerves are forming complex connections such as those in the brain that serve his senses of touch, taste, smell, sight, and hearing. And speaking of hearing... Tater’s hearing is growing more acute every day, making him more conscious of sounds, especially those that come from Mommy! So be careful Mommy what you say about you know who this month. (Ho Ho Ho) Oh, and his new trick for this week? Hiccups. He can actually hiccup!! Oh that boy, is he the smartest little thing or what?
